- Confirm parking or elevator reservations at both addresses.
- Label every box by room and contents, not just by room.
1 week before
- Pack a first-night essentials bag for each family member.

Moving day

- Do a final walkthrough: closets, cabinets, garage, outdoor spaces.
- Note the delivery window and confirm contact details for the driver.
After you arrive

- Unpack essentials, then bedrooms, then kitchen.
- Update your driver's license, voter registration, and insurance.
